1. The Employers' Federation of Ceylon is pleased to announce that it will conduct a half-day seminar on How To Deliver Powerful Corporate Presentations from 9.00 a.m. to 12.30 p.m. at the EFC Auditorium, Rajagiriya, on Friday 29th June 2012. Registration of participants will commence at 8.30 a.m. on 29th June 2012.
2. This Workshop will be conducted by Miss. Tanya Warnakulasuriya, who is a respected Media and Corporate Communications Specialist from the UK. Tanya has over 20 years’ experience in the field of corporate communications and message delivery. After receiving her initial training with KPMG London, Tanya worked for the BBC for 15 years as part of the senior management team for BBC News managing 48 foreign news bureaux around the world. She was later headhunted to BSkyB by Mr. James Murdoch, the deputy CEO of the News Corp and Chairman of Star TV, to implement a series of projects on corporate communications and customer service improvement for the corporation. Tanya is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts and Manufacturing (RSA), and also of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA UK) and a member of the Association of Projects Managers (APM UK). Throughout her career she has been privileged to meet, work with and learn from many well-known individuals from the entertainment industry and also international dignitaries such as HRH Prince Charles, former Prime Minister Dame Margaret Thatcher and former US Secretary of State Colin Powell, as well as from the corporate world such as Sir Richard Branson, Rupert and James Murdoch, Sir Alan Sugar and Bill Gates to name a few.
3. The workshop will cover the following topics; > An Introduction to what makes a presentation effective > The Powerful Presentation Toolkit: 4 Key Elements of a Powerful Presentation > Do’s and Don’ts of slide preparation > Do’s and Don’ts of message delivery > An Introduction of Crisis Messages: how to deliver bad news to a group > The Latest trends and techniques in delivering corporate presentations
4. The cost per participant is Rs 2,500/- plus VAT of 12% (EFC Member Companies) and Rs 2,900/- plus VAT of 12% for non-members. The EFC VAT Registration Number is 409044077-7000, and you will receive a separate invoice in acknowledgement of the VAT payment. 5.
