We are pleased to inform you that the EFC will conduct its 2^nd meeting of the Forum for this year on Thursday, 31^st May 2012 at 1:30pm at the EFC Auditorium.

The Forum is intended to encourage HR professionals within the EFC membership to come together and discuss issues relating to Human Resources and Industrial Relations. It would also give an opportunity for members to share their own experiences with others.

At this Forum, Mr. Isuru Tillakawardana, Deputy General Manager - Human Resource Management of the Commercial Bank of Ceylon PLC will be making a presentation on “Aligning Employee Compensation with Corporate Objectives”.

A short profile of Mr. Thilakawardena is given below.

Following the presentation, there will also be a time of question and answer and discussion for participants to raise general issues relating to Industrial Relations. About the Speaker:

Isuru Tillakawardana is presently heading the Human Resource Management function in Commercial Bank of Ceylon PLC as the Deputy General Manager - Human Resource Management.  He is also a Board Director of Commercial Development Company PLC, a subsidiary of Commercial Bank.  Prior to joining the Bank, Isuru has held leadership positions in various blue chip organizations in Sri Lanka ranging from Manufacturing, Insurance as well as in the Colombo Stock Exchange.  He is the past President of Association of HR Professionals, Sri Lanka and also a Member of the Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM) USA.  He holds an MBA from the University of Sri Jayawardenapura and a Degree in Law (LL.B) from the University of Colombo.
